Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how lullvale studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the mobile application Huhu · Pillow Tales (呼呼 · 枕边故事, the “App”) and related services.

Huhu is designed for parents or guardians to create and play gentle bedtime stories for children. This Policy applies only to Huhu, not to Featee or other lullvale products.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account information

When you register or sign in, we may collect phone number, display name, invite-code usage, and session tokens (access and refresh). The current release primarily uses phone/password with invite-based registration.

2.2 Family and cast profiles

Listener profiles you create (nickname, birth date or age-related fields, gender, intro, story preference tags) and cast entries (people/toys with names, relations, notes). You manage these in the App for story personalization.

2.3 Stories and audio

We process creation parameters you submit (theme, audiences, selected characters, style dials) and store generated story text, metadata, and narration audio. Audio is typically kept in object storage and delivered via short-lived access URLs.

2.4 Voices and optional voice cloning

You may use system voices. If voice cloning is enabled and you choose to use it, we may briefly process raw recordings to create a voice; raw uploads are deleted after the shortest necessary period.

2.5 Quotas and on-device cache

We may store quota counters (e.g., monthly story generation). The App may also cache story lists and preferences on your device.

2.6 Diagnostics

Servers may keep operational logs (timestamps, error codes, coarse environment signals) for reliability and security—not for advertising profiles.

2.7 Product usage events

To understand trial usage and improve the product, the App may send a small set of product events to our servers (for example: app open, successful login/register, start story generation, story ready or failed, open player, playback complete, quota limit reached). Events are tied to your account id and optional story id, and may include app version, OS type, and limited enum parameters (such as duration tier). We do not put children’s names or full story text into these events. They are not used for advertising profiles.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide accounts, authentication, and sessions
• Generate bedtime stories and synthesize narration
• Manage voices, cast, and playback
• Enforce quotas, abuse prevention, and security
• Honor deletion requests and legal obligations
• Improve story quality and reliability using aggregated or de-identified signals where appropriate

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for unrelated ad-network tracking.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use processors such as large language model providers (story text), speech synthesis / voice providers, cloud object storage (e.g., Cloudflare R2), hosting/database/cache infrastructure, and app performance / crash analysis (see the Umeng+ SDK notice below—not for advertising). We share only what is needed to perform the task and require processors to protect data under contract and applicable law.

4.1 Third-party SDK: Umeng+ SDK

To diagnose app stability and performance issues, we integrate the Umeng+ SDK (including U-APM) provided by Umeng Tongxin (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. Disclosure:

• SDK name: Umeng+ SDK
• Service type: App performance monitoring and crash analysis
• Personal information collected: Device information (IMEI/Mac/android ID/IDFA/OPENUDID/GUID/SIM IMSI/location information); and runtime information needed for diagnosis such as app version and crash/exception stacks

We initialize this SDK only after you agree to this Privacy Policy. In-product usage events are handled by our own analytics service and are not Umeng statistical analytics.

5. International Transfers

Data may be processed or stored in countries where we or our processors operate. Where permitted by law, using the App indicates you understand such transfers.

6. Retention

• Account and profiles: kept while the account is active; deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after deletion requests.
• Story text and audio: retained per product policy (currently about 24 months in implementation, or until you delete them).
• Clone raw audio (if enabled): kept briefly, then deleted.
• Quota counters: retained on a rolling window.
• Product usage events: typically purged after about 180 days; also removed on account deletion.

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion. Manage profiles in the App or email support@lullvale.com.

8. Children & Family Use

Huhu is for parents or guardians. Account holders should have capacity to enter digital service terms. Child profile fields you enter should be provided under your guardianship responsibilities and used only for storytelling personalization. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
